A wild regional baseball championship game was played Saturday on the Greenville field.

GHS posted three runs in the sixth to make it 13-12. The Comets had other runners in scoring position in the last two frames, but were unable to come up with another run.
The baseball Comets scored all 12 of their runs after there were two outs in the inning.
GHS ended the season with a 21 and 13 record.
Central is now 17-14. The Cougars will play Belleville Althoff at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Vandalia Sectional.
