Hear Jeff Leidel’s Full Interview With Former St. Louis Cardinal Ken Reitz

Ken Reitz

Former major league third baseman Ken Reitz was in Greenville last week for the Chamber of Commerce’s annual baseball luncheon.

Reitz played 8 of his 11 big league seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals and also spent time with San Francisco, the Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh. He was in the major leagues from 1972 to 1982 and was part of the trade which brought relief pitcher Bruce Suter to the Cardinals.

WGEL’s Jeff Leidel sat down with Reitz to talk about the Cardinals, his career and Lou Brock being the best player he ever played with.
