Greenville hosted the Southwestern Baseball Association’s Jr. Legion league tournament Saturday.
Five teams played with Nashville beating Brighton 3 to 1 for the championship.
In its only game of the tourney, Greenville’s Watson’s Senators lost to Nashville, 4 to 1.
The Senators were limited to five hits and had only seven runners in the contest, as they struck out 15 times.
Hitting safely were Ty Sexton, Jordan Lippert, Andy Cruthis, Hunter Robinson and Noah Matthews.
Nashville scored once in the first inning and added two more runs in the second. Both teams scored in the fourth.
Christian Moss pitched for the Senators, allowing eight hits and three walks while striking out seven Nashville batters.
