The Greenville Comets opened up their 2015 season Friday night at Don Stout field with a 39-25 conference win over the Litchfield Purple Panthers.
The Comets used over 200 yards rushing and over 200 yards passing to defeat Litchfield.
Greenville will be at Piasa Southwestern next week. The Piasa Birds lost to Hillsboro Friday, 29-22.
