The Comets Varsity soccer team earned their first conference victory Saturday vs. the Pana Panthers. They moved to 1-1 in conference play and 2-4 overall.
The match ended 2-1 after goals scored in the 5th minute by Greenville Junior Jordan Schauwecker, the 46th minute by Greenville Senior Matthew James and by Pana Junior Tristan Woolridge.
The Comets are back in action on Thursday at Tom Doll Field vs. South Central Conference opponents the Roxana Shells.
