Lady Comets Avenge Previous Hillsboro Loss Thursday

The Lady Comets tennis team returned to their winning ways by avenging an early season loss to Hillsboro at home Thursday.

Despite the absence of #3 singles player Samantha Siefken, Greenville turned the tables on the Hilltoppers by winning at #1 through #5 singles just as Hillsboro had done on their home turf one month ago to the day.

On this Senior Night, both Comet seniors Madi Funneman and Brooklynn Bearley won their matches in tiebreakers after falling in tiebreakers last month. GHS won the match 6-3, improving their season record to 7-7.
