Projects are underway at the Greenville High School football, soccer, and football/track facilities.
Athletic Director Joe Alstat told WGEL the school always works to make the students and community proud of their facilities. The baseball press box was moved back about 20 feet to accommodate for more chair-back seats to be put in behind home plate.
The GHS Sports Boosters have also voted to replace the sound system at the football field and track. Work is also going on at the soccer field, installing new concrete pads under four new sets of bleachers.

Alstat said no school district funds are being used for the projects. A combination of funds from the sports boosters and money raised by the sale of Comets cards will fund the work.
