Greenville High School Volleyball Players Recognized During Annual Banquet

Players in the Greenville High School volleyball program were honored Tuesday night at the season-ending banquet.

Coach Alison Hall’s varsity team finished 16 and 17 overall and the Lady Comet’s 4-5 conference record tied them for fourth place.

Coach Hall said this was the eighth year for the team’s annual Volley for The Cure event, which raised $8,500 this year.

Varsity award winners were Kalie Meadows, Offensive Award; Taylor Kalous, Defensive Award and Comets White 110 Percent Award; Ally Cantrill, Most Improved Player Award; Jenesis Grigg, Unsung Player Award; and Brianna Wade, Comets Blue Spirit Award.

All-conference honors went to Taylor Kalous on the first team and Brianna Wade on the third team.
