Comets Win Vandalia Tourney Game


The Greenville Comets earned a victory Monday morning in the Vandalia Holiday Tournament.

Leading throughout the game, the Comets defeated St. Elmo/Brownstown by the score of 54 to 41.

The GHS squad recorded 30 of its 54 points from the free throw line.
David Holden led the offense with 31 points, sinking 8 of 12 floor shots and going 13 for 13 at the line.

Dillon Halleman scored 15 points, making 11 of 16 free throws.
The Comets play again in the Vandalia Tournament about 8 o’clock Monday night. The opponent will be South Central.
