Gage is the son of Gary and Gayla Brauns of Greenville.

Attending the ceremony was John Utley, golf coach at Columbia College.

Coach Utley said he has known the Greenville High School golfer for several years. Utley works as one of the guest instructors for the University of Missouri golf camps and Brauns has attended those camps for the last four summers.

Utley said he’s seen Gage develop over the years and noted Gage’s “tenacious competitiveness”.
