Players in the Greenville Lady Comets basketball program were honored Tuesday night during an awards program.
Head Coach Kolin Dothager talked about the season, which the team finished 15-13. Dothager said the team’s schedule was tough this year and looks to be even tougher next year.

Presented special awards were Brianna Van Kleef for most assists and steals, Taylor Snow for best free throw percentage, Katie Hutchinson as most improved player, and Madison Funneman, three honors for most rebounds, best offensive player and best defensive player.
Junior varsity team members were given JV patches, freshmen received numerals, and varsity letters and chevrons were presented. The freshman team had a 5 and 5 record and the JV team finished 13 and 3.
Coach Dothager gave special recognition to the four seniors, Van Kleef, Funneman, Morgan McEvers and Brianna wade.
