The Greenville Comets baseball team will return to GCS Park, home of the minor league Gateway Grizzlies, near Sauget Wednesday, April 27.
The Comets will play Staunton in a South Central Conference matchup. The varsity game begins at 4:30 p.m. with junior varsity action to follow.
GHS Athletic Director Joe Alstat said it’s an opportunity for the Comets to play in a great ballpark.

The athletic director said tickets are on sale for the game. You can buy tickets for $4 from the high school office. If you buy the tickets at the door, all proceeds go to the Grizzlies, while tickets sold at GHS help the Comets offset their costs associated with the game.

GCS Stadium can be reached by driving west on Interstate 70 then south on Interstate 255 to Exit 15.
