The Greenville Comets will open their season Friday on the road against the Litchfield Purple Panthers. The Comets are looking for their 300th win Friday night.
The Comets were 4 and 5 last season and come into 2016 with 35 players on the varsity roster.
The team won its last three games of 2015 and Head Coach Todd Hutchinson said that was important coming into this season.
