Panthers Basketball Over Westminster

A three-pointer by Romello Ball in the final seconds Tuesday night put the Greenville University basketball Panthers in front for good.

Playing at home, GU edged Westminster 140-137.

Greenville had 10 players score in double figures. Leading the way was Kenneth Cooley with 24 points.

Last Saturday, the Panthers lost at Fontbonne 137-119. Ralph Jainoiz posted 18 points.

GU plays at Webster Friday and currently has an overall record of 2-8. They are 2-1 in the conference.
