Sports Shop Interview: GHS Cheerleading Coach Amanda Goldsboro

On Saturday, March 13, Greenville High School varsity cheerleaders were announced as this year’s champion in the Illinois High School Association small school state competition.

The team, coaches and community celebrated with a parade that afternoon and Tuesday evening a special community ceremony was held at Don Stout Field.

Varsity cheerleaders earning the state title were Avery Cantrill, Aurora Grasso, Lexie Griffin, Kelsie Hemann, Lilee Joiner, Emma Ketten, Adriana Lohman, Lily Prater, Alli Jo Suess, Kyley Sugg, Elena Valentin, Abby Wall and Sophie Warchol.

Last Saturday afternoon, Jeff Leidel talked with Head Cheer Coach Amanda Goldsboro about the great accomplishment.
