The South Central Conference boys and girls track meets were held Thursday at Pana.
The Comets’ Desmond Gardner placed second in the high jump and Jaylon Betts was fifth in the long jump.
The GHS soccer girls defeated Gillespie 4-1.
Brooklyn Suzuki scored two goals. Mia Emken and Alison Ridens had the other two GHS goals.
Collecting assists were Ridens, Ainsley Olson, Emken and Charlee Stearns.
