Comets Win In Shootout

The Greenville Comets varsity basketball team claimed a one-point victory Saturday in the St. Joseph-Ogden Shootout.

The Comets held on for a 52-51 decision over Paxton-Buckley-Loda.

It was close all the way, as the teams were tied at halftime and after three quarters.

Peyton MCullough led the Greenville offense with 19 points. Landen Moss contributed 15.

McCullough was selected as the most valuable player of the game.

The Comets play at home Tuesday against Nashville. The game will be aired on WGEL.
