Baseball Comets Top Altamont

The baseball Comets of Greenville High School slipped past Altamont, 4-3, Wednesday afternoon.

Edward Jurgena earned the pitching win by going six and one-third innings. Ryan Jackson got the save for finishing the game.

The Comets scored four runs in the third inning.

Ryan Harnetiaux drove in two teammates with a single and the winning run was scored on a sacrifice fly by Peyton McCullough.

The junior varsity baseball Comets lost to Altamont 7-2 in nine innings. Pitching for GHS were Hunter Clark and Gus Olson.
