The Greenville Lady Comets softball team hosted Altamont last Thursday and was defeated 8-2.
Haylee Clark had a two-hit game including a triple, and drove in two runs.
Other hits were by Hannah Potthast, Jayden Murphy and Anna Turner.
Emma Wilfong pitched for the home team and struck out eight batters.
