For the first time in school history, the Kaskaskia College women’s softball team has advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series.
The Blue Angels defeated Lake Land twice on Wednesday by scores of 5-4 and 10-0 in the championship round of the Region 24 Tournament.
The KC team will now play in the NJCAA Softball World Series in Oxford, Alabama.
