Granite City High School hosted a quadrangular girls tennis event Thursday.
Greenville played, along with Granite City, Alton Marquette, and Bethalto Civic Memorial.
The Lady Comets defeated Granite City 3-2, and lost to Marquette 3-2 and Bethalto 4-1.
Ellie Schaufelberger won all three of her number one singles matches, and Eden Kapp won two of her number two singles matches.
