Comets Stay Unbeaten In SCC

The Greenville Comets ran their South Central Conference baseball record to 4-0 with a win at home Wednesday afternoon.

GHS defeated Staunton 12-2 in five innings.

Drake Curry pitched a complete game, striking out seven.

Several players had good offensive games for the Comets.  Hudson Alstat and Rowdy Sussenbach both totaled three hits and three RBIs.   Cohen Alstat posted three hits and two RBIs, while Ben Hutchinson banged out two hits and drove in two runs.

Sussenbach and Cohen Alstat cracked triples.

The Comets travel to Highland on Thursday, and have their next conference game Friday at Hillsboro.
