Registration Now Open For 2026 Miles For Marshall 5K

Registration is now open for the 2026 Miles for Marshall 5K, taking place on Saturday, September 26 at 10 am, at Patriot’s Park in Greenville.

Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join this family-friendly event while supporting a meaningful cause. Registration includes a commemorative event t-shirt and swag bag. To be guaranteed a t-shirt in your preferred size, participants must register by August 1. After that date, shirts will be available only while supplies last, and sizes cannot be guaranteed.

This year’s commemorative t-shirt is especially meaningful, as the Miles for Marshall committee chose to honor Brody Haston. Inspired by the things that made Brody smile, the design celebrates his memory and reflects the heart of the event: supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

The event is also seeking community sponsors. Businesses and individuals interested in supporting the event are encouraged to get involved.

“Every registration represents someone choosing to stand with local families facing pediatric cancer,” said organizer Christina Staff. “Whether you run, walk, sponsor the event, or simply spread the word, you’re helping us build a stronger support system for children right here in our community.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marshall Kids Cancer Foundation, a newly established nonprofit dedicated to providing support, resources, and financial assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families throughout Bond County and the surrounding area. Funds raised help provide financial assistance, practical support, and encouragement to families navigating a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, organizers are looking forward to welcoming even more runners and walkers in 2026. Together, we are building a community of support for local children and families facing pediatric cancer.
