The Greenville Lady Comets varsity volleyball team earned its first victory of the young season last week.
The GHS girls travelled to Lebanon and won by scores of 25-13, 25-13.
Monday at home, the varsity Lady Comets lost in three serts to Father McGivney. After the visitors won 25-18, the Lady Comets took the next set, 25-16. Father McGivney edged the home team 25-23 in the deciding battle.
Also Monday, the freshman GHS team lost 11-21, 11-21 and the junior varsity Lady Comets were defeated 6-25, 13-25.
