Bond County Animal Control Officer Jim Hess has issued his August report of activities.
Five dogs and 19 cats were impounded at the shelter last month.
Five of the dogs and one cat were released to their owners. Sixteen cats and one dog were released to other shelters.
One cat was adopted out of the Bond County Shelter.
Four cats were euthanized, and Hess received information about three animals biting humans.
