The Bond County Board has decided to begin meeting only once a month beginning the start of the 2027 fiscal year.
For many years, the board has met the first and third Tuesdays of the month, but that will change starting December.
Board members believe they can take care of county business in one meeting, and if they need to, they can always schedule a special meeting.
The board will be meeting the last Tuesday of every month at 4 p.m. in the courthouse. The first under the new schedule will be December 29.
